The Go Battle League is reinventing its season structure and ranking system to bring us a new and exciting experience. Today we'll be going through the structure of these new seasons, the new rewards, the new cups, and we'll provide all of the information you need to become a Legend during Season 6 of the Go Battle League. As far as the leagues go we have the following dates: Great League from Monday, November 30, 2020, at 1:00 pm to Monday, December 14, 2020, at 1:00 pm PST Ultra League and its Premier Cup from Monday, December 14, 2020, at 1:00 pm to Monday, December 28, 2020, at 1:00 pm PST Master League, Master League Classic, and its Premier Cup from Monday, December 28, 2020, at 1:00, to Monday, January 4, 2021, at 1:00 PST The Holiday Cup will also run from Monday, December 28, 2020, to Monday, January 4, 2021, at 1:00 pm PST Lastly, we'll have all three leagues and the Ultra Premier Cup running from Monday, January 4, 2021, at 1:00 pm That is all just the first half of Season 6, with more announcements expected to come in the near future. These much longer seasons give us more time to enjoy our favorite leagues and new leagues like Masters with Pokémon given XL Candy. We can now take our Pokémon beyond level 40 to battle, or you can enjoy Master League Classic with the teams you already have. We also have the Holiday Cup coming with the 1,500 CP limit, and only Normal, Grass, Electric, Ice, Flying, and Ghost types being allowed. We'll have articles and team building guides to help you with the Holiday Cup as the event approaches. Climbing the Ranks All of this extra time gives us the ability to climb to the top of the new ranking system. To get through ranks 1 to 20 you'll just need to participate in battles and secure a certain number of wins. The top four ranks have received new titles and focus more on a traditional rating score. For these we have: Ace: 2,000 rating Veteran: 2,500 rating Expert: 2,750 rating Legend: 3,000 rating Rank-Reward Updates Niantic is introducing unique reward tracks for certain ranks. When you reach these ranks you will only need to complete the set of battles to advance to the next rank. These reward tracks will be exclusively one type of reward. Rank 5: The rewards will be mystery items Rank 10: The rewards will be stardust Rank 15: The rewards will be rare candies Rank 19: The rewards will be Pokémon encounters We have plenty of other rewards and bonuses to look forward to. We'll be able to enjoy additional stardust bonuses during the week of Monday, December 28, 2020, to Monday, January 4, 2021. We'll earn twice the stardust for winning battles and completing sets. The Pikachu Libre avatar items will be available for Trainers who reached rank 10.
For Trainers who make it to the Legend rank, they will earn the awesome avatar items and pose of N, who first appeared in Pokémon Black and Pokémon White. Black and White were the last main series games I played as a kid, and N was totally awesome.
Legendary Pokémon encounters will be featured in the reward wheel once you reach rank 20. The encounters will feature whatever Pokémon is currently in 5-Star raids.
Season 6 of the Go Battle League looks like it will be epic to play through, as we reach new levels of prestige, and claim sweet rewards. I'm personally very excited to get to Legend for the N pose and items, as well as the legendary encounters after rank 20.
